Dear Colleagues,
IFALPA has been informed by the SNPL that the ASL France pilots have been in negotiations with ASL Airlines management for a collective agreement. The SNPL ASL France pilots have been trying, through multiple rounds of collective bargaining to obtain the same working conditions, benefits and pay as their counterparts in the ASL Group based in France flying the same equipment. The SNPL represented pilots at ASL France face different pay scales, far worse working conditions and fatiguing schedules that are consistently built to the maximum flight time and duty limits from their counterparts in the ASL France Group flying the same equipment.
IFALPA has also been informed that for nearly four years SNPL has systematically sought to provide solutions in a constructive spirit, emphasizing proactive social dialogue. ASL France pilots are extremely disappointed by the lack of recognition for their work compared to their other ASL Group which has resulted in no salary increases for 2025.As a result, ASL France pilots feel they have been left with no choice but to take industrial action.
On behalf of ASL France pilots, SNPL requests the Mutual assistance outlined below, as per the IFALPA Industrial Manual, starting on 18 December 2025 at 0001 CET until 22 December 2025 at 23:59.
•Ban on Wet leasing (Para. 2.5.1)
•Freeze in Capacity (Para. 2.5.2.2)
•Assistance to Pilots Stranded Away from their Home Base (Para. 2.5.5)
•Requests for IFALPA Submissions and Representation (Para. 2.5.7)
SNPL further requests Letters of Support for the ASL pilots to be sent to FO Fanny Aronssohn, IFALPA Director at SNPL, [email protected] and cc [email protected] and [email protected]
SNPL will keep IFALPA and its Member Associations informed of any further developments.
