Request for Mutual Assistance ASPA de Mexico – Aerolitoral (AM Connect) Pilots

November 25, 2024

IFALPA has been informed by ASPA de Mexico that they have been involved in negotiations with Aerolitoral (Aeromexico Connect) management for better working conditions and salaries.

As of today, the airline management has presented two proposals. The last proposal was rejected by the pilots during the 20 November general assembly. Negotiations are still ongoing hoping to reach an agreement in the next few days. If an agreement is not reached by 30 November, the Aerolitoral Board will call for a strike, beginning at 00:01 LT on 1 December 2024.

There are no minimum services under Mexican law. Once the strike begins, all the operations of Aeromexico Connect will come to a griding halt.

On behalf of Aerolitoral pilots, ASPA requests the Mutual Assistance outlined below, as per the IFALPA Industrial Manual, starting on 25 November 2024 and until further notice.
