Global Reporting System and Format for assessing and Reporting Runway SurfaceConditions (GRF) is a new ICAO methodology for assessing and reporting runway surface conditions, which will become applicable on 4 November 2021. It ensures a harmonized assessment and reporting of runway conditions and correspondingly improved flight crew assessment of take-off and landing performance.
This webinar provides a timely opportunity to all parties involved in the implementation and to discuss solutions to the common ICAO and aerodrome operators, aeronautical challenges encountered in their efforts to put GRF in place. Representatives from information service providers, airline pilots, and air traffic control will present their experiences, especially in how they overcame the challenges encountered, and their views on how these should best of GRF for runway surface conditions, to seek clarifications on the new methodology be overcome. A question period will follow.
