Update for Request for Mutual Assistance for Svensk Pilotförening (SWEALPA)
The Pilots’ Association of Sweden (Svensk Pilotförening, SWEALPA), is updating the request for Mutual Assistance on behalf of SAS Scandinavian Airlines pilots organized in SWEALPA pilots sent on 8 April 2019.
We have been informed by SWEALPA that negotiations in Sweden ended today without any agreement. As a result, all SAS pilots in Sweden are on strike.
Therefore, SWEALPA requests, through IFALPA, to maintain the active status of the following Mutual As- sistance requests, from 26 April 2019, until further notice:
- Request for Ban on Wet Leasing (2.4.1)
- Request for Increased Capacity (18.104.22.168)
- Recruitment Ban (2.4.3)
- Denial of Training Facilities (2.4.4)
- Request for Assistance to Pilots Stranded Away from their Home Base (2.4.5)
