New Request

Request for Mutual Assistance for SNA Brazil

November 24, 2021

Dear Colleagues,

The Sindicato Nacional dos Aeronautas (SNA, ALPA Brazil) has informed IFALPA that, on 24 November 2021, the SNA General Assembly overwhelmingly voted to authorize a nationwide strike scheduled to start on 29 November 2021 at 00:01 LT and to remain in effect until further notice, if necessary.

It is our understanding that the reason for the strike centers on the refusal by the Brazilian airline industry to renew the National Collective Labor Agreement.

Please join IFALPA in expressing support for our fellow pilots in Brazil by endorsing the Mutual Assistance request as described below.

SNA respectfully requests, through IFALPA, the following Mutual Assistance:

Request for Submissions and Representations para. (2.4.7)

All IFALPA Member Associations are requested to support SNA pilots by forwarding
support letters to Captain Ondino Dutra, President of SNA [email protected]
and CC: [email protected]

SNA will keep IFALPA and its Member Associations informed of any further developments.

In Unity,
