The Sindicato Español de Pilotos de Líneas Aéreas, SEPLA, are requesting Mutual Assistance on behalf of Ryanair pilots.
We have been informed by SEPLA that negotiations with Ryanair management have failed due to the lack of flexibility to offer alternatives and a suitable plan to relocate the 150 pilots affected by base closures, like other competing airlines have done in the last months. SEPLA believes there are no legal grounds for doing so. Industrial action in the form of a strike will take place during 19, 20, 22, 27 and 29 September 2019.
Therefore, SEPLA requests, through IFALPA, the following Mutual Assistance for: 19, 20, 22, 27 and 29 September starting at 00:01 LT, until 23:59 LT each day:
- Request for Ban on Wet Leasing (2.4.1)
- Request for Increase in Capacity (126.96.36.199)
- Request for Recruitment Ban (2.4.3)
- Request for Assistance to Pilots Stranded Away from their Home Base (2.4.5)
All IFALPA Member Associations are encouraged to support Ryanair pilots by forwarding support letters to: Cpt. Oscar Sanguino Gonzalez, President of SEPLA, [email protected]
SEPLA will keep IFALPA and its Member Associations informed of any further developments.
