Cancellation of Mutual Assistance for NF (Norway ALPA)
The Pilots’ Association of Norway (Norsk Flygerforbund, NF), is cancelling the request for Mutual Assistance on behalf of all of the SAS group (including Scandinavian Airlines and SAS Ireland (SAIL) pilots sent on 28 March 2019.
We have been informed by NF that negotiations in Norway were restarted after 6 days of the pilot strike in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. An agreement to end the strike was reached after 36 hours of intense and continuous mediation this week.
Therefore, NF requests, through IFALPA, to cancel the following Mutual Assistance requests:
- Request for Ban on Wet Leasing (2.4.1)
- Request for Increased Capacity (220.127.116.11)
- Recruitment Ban (2.4.3)
- Denial of Training Facilities (2.4.4)
- Request for Assistance to Pilots Stranded Away from their Home Base (2.4.5)
NF would like to thank all IFALPA Member Associations for the support in relation to this conflict.
