Request for Mutual Assistance for FPA Finland
The Finnish Pilots’ Association (FPA), are requesting Mutual Assistance on behalf of Nordic Regional Airlines (N°RRA) pilots.
We have been informed by FPA that N°RRA pilots have been negotiating a new CLA for the past two months. Unfortunately, they have been unsuccessful in reaching an agreement with the management and have failed to correct the flaws in the current terms and conditions.
As a result, pilots have refused to do stand-by duty since the beginning of December. Industrial actions will gradually increase in the following months. Finnair owns 40% of N°RRA and announced recently the wet leasing from DAT (major shareholder of N°RRA with 60%).
Therefore, FPA requests, through IFALPA, the following Mutual Assistance starting 6 December at
0400 UTC/0600 LT, until further notice:
Request for Ban on Wet Leasing (2.4.1)
Request for Freeze in Capacity (2.4.2)
Request for Assistance to Pilots Stranded Away from their Home Base (2.4.5)
Request for Prohibition of Pilot Contracting (2.4.6)
All IFALPA Member Associations are encouraged to support N°RRA pilots by forwarding support letters to: Cpt. Timo Saajoranta, President of FPA [email protected]
FPA will keep IFALPA and its Member Associations informed of any further developments.
