Request for Mutual Assistance for ASPA de Mexico - Aeromar

October 13, 2021

Dear Colleagues,

ASPA de Mexico has informed us of the difficult financial situation that Aeromar Airlines finds itself in, as many other carriers around the globe. Furthermore, we understand that Aeromar pilots agreed on salary reductions to help the airline and despite that, they are receiving less salary than what was agreed upon. Aeromar pilots’ request is for management to honour the agreement. In this regard, the affected pilots will soon decide the next steps through a voting process. Several options will be presented, up to and including consideration to authorize a strike.

Your assistance in forwarding letters of support to our fellow Aeromar pilots will be greatly appreciated by encouraging Aeromar’s management to reconsider their position and respect the agreed terms.

In closing, ASPA de Mexico requests, through IFALPA, the following Mutual Assistance:

Request for Submissions and Representations (2.4.7)

Request for Submissions and Representations (2.4.7)

ASPA will keep IFALPA and its Member Associations informed of any further developments.

In Unity,
