The European Cockpit Association has been very active in developing protocols to deal with the challenges of Trans National Airlines,that is an Airline or group of Airlines which employs and/or bases pilots in two or more countries. The term TNA is also used for a group of airlines which are effectively controlled by a single management or ownership structure
ECA have had a recent experience of this with the establishment of Air France/KLM and Easyjet and as a result the documents below have been developed.
