Dead Tired European Action Day

Training
How to Apply
  • Read the brochure and decide which course you would like to attend and ensure that you meet the prerequisites; including
  • Obtaining the consent of your Member Association.
  • Completing the appropriate application form (on line).

Notes:

  • You will see that all the courses carry prerequisites. The two most important criteria are that you should be well motivated and that you should have the written support of your Member Association. Obviously, the more advanced courses normally require that you have first undergone the basic (and intermediate) training and have accumulated some experience in your role, though this requirement can be waived in some instances. The list of pre-study modules can be found on the E-learning site, which you will available to you after registration. (see E-learning Training)
  • As pilots, we know that it is sometimes difficult to make a firm commitment, because of roster constraints and staff travel. All we ask is you to your best to attend, if you apply; advise us of any changes; and, in return, we will do our best to keep the “slot” open for you and be as flexible, as possible.

E-Learning Training

E-learning is available on a dedicated website is www.ifalpatraining.org The modules available are a mixture of training and educational material. Some are intended as pre-course study, which form part of the prerequisites for attending specific IFALPA Training Courses, whilst others are there to increase the knowledge base of the recipient.

Access to the E-learning site

Access to this site is restricted to those attending the IFALPA Training Courses and/or those nominated by their Member Associations in line with the existing protocols approved by the IFALPA Executive Board. Normally access will be granted once participants have registered officially for a training course and will last for three months after the end of the course. Other users may be granted access in accordance with the IFALPA administrative regulations current at the time.

User IDs and Logins will be issued by the training consultant, normally via email.
